Flower Girl: Lost Photo #2

Pearl

This Photo was found in an Antique Store in Lemon Grove, California.  The child appears to be five or six years old.  Her name "Pearl" was written on the back of the Post Card styled photograph.  She looks as if she was a flower girl for a wedding. [My assumption as the picture was found with other wedding pictures].  Not sure of the era but am guessing at 1920's-1940's. There is no location identification.

  1. Yvette, I just found your blog via GeneaBloggers. I love what you are doing and hope you find more information on these lost treasures--maybe even make some connections with the families of these photo subjects. That darling picture needs to find its way back home!

  3. Welcome to GeneaBloggers! Thank you for trying to find the owners of these photos, etc. I've seen photos in antique stores before and it's so sad to see them sitting there instead of being with their rightful owners. Thanks for your blog!

  4. What a great photo, and what an adorable little girl! I do hope you can find the owners some day. I was fortunate enough to have a treasure trove of my own family's older photos sent to me through a cousin. The owner (who had found them in her attic) knew that my cousin was related to some people who had the same last name written on the backs of the photos! What a shame there is no last name recorded here.

Welcome to GeneaBloggers! I know you'll develop many wonderful connections, as well as friendships.
